pins and needles

Today was the Snoquamie Valley Quilters "all day sewing at the senior center" day, so I took my "PLUS 1" quilt top down there and we (mom and I) pinned the batting and backing on.

After rolling it up from both sides to meet in the middle (ready to be quilted on my machine with a walking foot) I pulled out a hat I'd been working on and finished that up. It is CRAZY.

I"m thinking this hat will be for my best friend's new coming november babygirl.
