Maybe I'll change someone's world with these words. You never know.

Stitch and Pitch Night

Yesterday, mom's (which I also attend) knitting group (that she has named "YARN THERAPY") had their first "Stitch and Pitch" night at the local senior center (where we meet thursday mornings). We all met together at 6:30 with our knitting projects and watched the Mariners game on the big tv. We enjoyed chatting, watching a few ladies be very into the game, eating cupcakes, knitting our current projects and just relaxing in the company of awesome friends. fun was had by all.
Here's a glimpse of the night. It was a nice small group which was actually kind of perfect.

My friend Monika joined us in the fun and made up this 7 by 9 inch square for the veterans afghans we're working on as a group.
The square I worked on during the game.
Some bows and flowers that I whipped up to make into little hairpins.

Mom is thinking that we will start doing this at least once a month on a regular basis. Whether it be a baseball game or a movie or just night knitting, it is guaranteed to be fun.
