"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." — Anaïs Nin

Maybe I'll change someone's world with these words. You never know.

today in ansbach

today i got up at 8 because we had an appointment for the girls' shots at 9 on katterbach. as i was getting ready to go into the living room, lesile knocked on my door. she was like 'blueberry pancakes'. yum. so half asleep i ate blueberry pancakes. they were good. i also had some sausages. yum. then we got everyone together and went to the appointment. that took like two hours to get everything done checked and all. twin wellbaby appointments and twins for shots and measurements can take a while. jeffrey was really good surprisingly. for a two year old to wait two hours in kinda rough, but he was fairly awesome. after the appointment we went to the post office for some letters to mail that leslie had put together. she also had to show some place the girls' shot record so they can continue to go to the cdc (child development center--free daycare). then we went to the commissary and got some groceries. we came home, and i had a burrito and a donut twist. yum. that was my morning. and its only almost two pm. but day. it feels nice to get everything done in the morning, but its draining. the girls slept after their shots and jeffrey is asleep now, so we have some down ish time. tomorrow we are going to a checkback appointment for jeffrey's tongue. its by the bahnhoff (train station). so i'll get to see that. sweet.
